The King’s Club

The King’s Club is a children’s club for ages 3-11 years which meets on Saturday mornings, 10.15 a.m. – 12.00 noon.  Activities include: games, bouncy castle, PS3 & Xbox, air hockey, table football, singing and Bible stories.  £1.00 admission plus 30p for sweets and a drink.  Everyone welcome.

Christmas Cracker 2017

Bright Lights Night

Celebrate Jesus – the Light of the World.  Tuesday 31st October, 5.30 – 7.00 p.m.  A great night out for all the family with singing, Bible story and lots of craft activities for all ages.  Come dressed in your brightest clothes – prizes for the brightest outfits.  This is a free event, sponsored by the Congleton Young People’s Trust.

Christmas Cracker 2016

What a fantastic way to celebrate Christmas!!  Many thanks to all that helped to make this such a brilliant night.  Well over 100 people of all ages enjoyed celebrating Christmas as we told the story through games, singing and a short film followed by lots of craft activities.  A grant from the Congleton Young People’s Trust towards the cost of craft activities was greatly appreciated.

Afternoon Tea

Celebrate the 90th birthday of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II with Afternoon Tea at Cross Street Church.  Saturday 11th June, 4.00 p.m.  There will be a royal quiz with prizes for the winning table and everyone who attends will receive a copy of the book “The Servant Queen”.  Tickets £5 available from Andrew Calvert or Cross Street Church coffee morning.

Get Motivated with Marie

This year sees the start of “Get Motivated with Marie”, a gentle exercise group which meets on Wednesday mornings, 10.00 – 11.00 a.m.  We are very thankful to Shirley Williams, who has been running “Shape up with Shirley” for over five years but Shirley felt it was time to bring her group to a conclusion last month.  Thankfully there should be a smooth transition because Marie has been part of the gentle exercise group since its inception.  The group enjoy an informal time of gentle exercise followed by coffee and an optional weigh in, all for just £1.00....
