  Help along the way for those taking their first steps as followers of Jesus. The regular service times at Cross Street Church are: Sunday Morning Service: 10.30 a.m. – 12.00 noon Sunday Evening Service: 6.00 – 7.00 p.m. Tuesday Afternoon Fellowship: 1.30 – 2.30 p.m. followed by tea/coffee and biscuits Bible Study and prayer: Thursdays, 7.30 – 9.00 p.m. Click on “Monthly Diaries” and then “Church Diary” for details of Family Services, youth and children’s clubs and special events happening this month.

Christmas fair and Christmas dinner

Thank you to all those who helped with the Christmas Fair.  We raised £385 to buy Christmas presents for orphaned children in India and Colombia.  A further £50 was raised at the Tuesday Afternoon Fellowship’s Christmas dinner.

Join us to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Sunday 15th December, 4.00 – 5.30 p.m. – Christmas Cracker – family event with singing, games , the Christmas story and lots of craft activities Sunday 22nd December, 6.00 – 7.00 p.m. – Carols by Candlelight Wednesday  25th December, 10.00 – 11.00 a.m. – Christmas Morning communion

Inspiring and humbling prayer service on Sunday evening with contributions from David and Liz Lloyd representing www.opendoorsuk.org/seechange , with harrowing stories of persecuted Christians in Nigeria. Thank you both. Also thank you to Ian Westwood for sharing stories of Christian’s in China, to Ola Abiona for personal insights and prayer and John Leese for his personal experiences through their missionary work in Congo.
