The miracle of metamophosis

Over the last few days we have witnessed the miracle of metamorphosis at Cross Street Church as we have watched some caterpillars change into Chrysalides and then into beautiful butterflies.  We released on at Quest and another at The King’s Club to the great excitement of the children.. May each one of us be changed into the image of Jesus Christ from one degree of glory to another. (2 Corinthians 3.18)

Lisa Ball, the community fundraiser from East Cheshire Hospice, gave an excellent presentation about the work of the hospice and how to get involved to the Tuesday Afternoon Fellowship.  Afterwards Marie Plant presented her with a cheque for £150 raised through charity table sales.

Holiday at Home

A holiday in Congleton for the over 55′s was enjoyed by over 50 people this year.  Those who attended were treated to interesting talks, demonstrations and a tasting session by Alison Bond and George Golding, a health and wellbeing day led by nutritionist Rachel David, butterfly themed craft activities led by Andrew Calvert and Paul Bayley and Magic with a Message by Geoff Bechingham were all greatly appreciated.  The excellent food prepared by Laura Bayley made it a week to be remembered and those who attended are already looking forward to Holiday at Home 2019!  Many thanks to...

The Easter Breakfast and Family Service was a great success. The breakfast included cereals, toast, fruit, croissants, yoghurts and bacon & sausage baps.  After breakfast there was a Family Service followed by an Easter message for the adults while the children enjoyed an Easter egg hunt.
