Gathehu School presentation

This week Shaun and Lucy Wachira Worth have given presentations to Cross Street Church and the Quest Youth club about Gathehu School.  The school started with just 14 students in 2011 thanks to personal donations from Shaun and Lucy and fund raising by the Church.  The school has now grown  and has 112 students.  In Kenya students have to pay for their education and some extremely poor families are unable to afford to pay but a sponsored exercise bike at Quest, a summer fair and other donations from Church members raised a  total of £700.  Lucy and Shaun visited the Gathehu school just a few...

Friends and Heroes 2017

Friends and Heroes holiday club was a great success this year.  Activities included: Friends and Heroes DVDs, singing, Xbox & PS3 games, Air Hockey, Table Football, Team competition and crafts: porcelain painting, decorating plant pots, peg rug style bags and mosaic picture frames.  40 youngsters enjoyed the activities.  Many thanks to Cheshire East Council for their support.

The King’s Club

The King’s Club

The King’s Club is a children’s club for ages 3-11 years which meets on Saturday mornings, 10.15 a.m. – 12.00 noon restarting on Saturday 9th September.  Activities include: games, bouncy castle, PS3 & Xbox, air hockey, table football, singing and Bible stories.  £1.00 admission plus 30p for sweets and a drink.  Everyone welcome.
