Gathehu School presentation
This week Shaun and Lucy Wachira Worth have given presentations to Cross Street Church and the Quest Youth club about Gathehu School. The school started with just 14 students in 2011 thanks to personal donations from Shaun and Lucy and fund raising by the Church. The school has now grown and has 112 students. In Kenya students have to pay for their education and some extremely poor families are unable to afford to pay but a sponsored exercise bike at Quest, a summer fair and other donations from Church members raised a total of £700.
