80th Birthday Celebration for Joan Calvert
The Tuesday Afternoon Fellowship joined Joan Calvert in celebrating her 80th birthday three days early.

58 people attended the curry night which raised funds to help children in India and the Philippines. Juber Akther hosted the event and provided the meals at cost price at the Bon O Phool restaurant. After the meal the Pastor, Andrew Calvert told the story behind the Helga Mosey Children’s homes and showed some photos of his visits to the homes. After this some vouchers and prizes, donated by local businesses were auctioned off bring the final total raised to £750!
